The National Marrow Donor Program® (NMDP) presented the Unrelated Donor Search & Selection Strategies workshop at the 2004 Tandem BMT Meetings.
This workshop provided an overview of the newly published unrelated donor matching guidelines, developed for transplant center physicians and coordinators to provide guidance and strategy on donor selection.
The donor matching guidelines appeared in the October 2003 edition of the Biology of Blood and Marrow Transplantation journal and can be viewed at http://www.bbmt.org (PDF - 100KB).
